Ways to partner with ANU

ANU is open to collaborations at any scale, and can assist with sourcing funding through grants in Australia and internationally. For Australian businesses, R&D investments are usually tax-deductible. 

Some examples of ways to partner with ANU include:

  • Collaborative research projects that tap into the expertise of our plant scientists, chemists, engineers, computer scientists, medical researchers and social scientists (and more).
  • Development of commercial products and licensing of technology.
  • Delivery of executive education and professional short courses. 
  • Strategic collaborations that support broad engagement betweeen ANU and government, industry and research institutions. 
  • Partnering on tenders or major grant opportunities advertised by a third party. 
  • Assistance to start-up / spin-out new companies, including funding support.

We are currently seeking a commercial R&D collaborator for e-Cells, an efficient and cost-effective method for cell-free protein synthesis. This opportunity is for the technology to be further developed via a collaboration with an industry partner, in return for an end option/license to the technology.
