To mark a 30-year partnership with Questacon, a 23-tonne Science Circus truck visited The Australian National University. The program helps students shift from lab research to science communication careers.

Exploring diverse opportunities at ANU

I chose the ANU summer research programme as an opportunity to undertake a real research project and also be part of social programme.

Making the move to ANU from Sydney, has helped Alex Keen find his own pathway to a career in medicine.

Jack Muir, an Bachelor of Philosophy Science (Honours) student, won a $180,000 John Monash Scholarship to study in the US. Specializing in geophysics, his tomographic mapping of the Earth's core could improve mineral exploration and predict seismic activity.

I would say definitely take the opportunity. Definitely apply, if you get in take it because it’s kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity to really be in that environment

Claire's love of science led her from her hometown of Guyra in the New South Wales tablelands, to ANU in Canberra.

ANU PhB student Victor Wang won the 20th Lions Oratory Competition for linking Gödel’s incompleteness theorems to everyday human contradictions.
