About

ANU maintains two separate locations dedicated to astronomical and space research. Siding Spring Observatory is the ANU’s dark sky site, home to over 60 telescopes. ANU students have access to most, including regular use of Australia’s largest optical telescope, the 3.9m AAT telescope as well as the ANU 2.3m telescope, which is regularly used by ANU undergraduates for their research projects.
