Faee Tarmadi, ANU College of Science Finance Manager, discusses strategies he uses to nurture his mental health and wellbeing.

Talking about how you manage your own mental health and wellbeing can feel daunting, and it’s something we all put on the backburner. But instead of shying away from these conversations, staff at the ANU College of Science are sharing what methods work for them.

Faee is constantly working on his mental health for himself, his family, friends and colleagues. Bringing happiness into his life helps improve both his and others mental health. The strategies he uses are making habits when looking after his mental health so that it’s embedded into his lifestyle. Meditation, prayers and exercise all really assist Faee. The breathing aspect and having time alone all make these practices beneficial for him.
