Six CPAS staff members recognised with Vice-Chancellor's Award for Public Policy and Outreach
Congratulations to Dr Merryn McKinnon and the “Science Engagement Champions” who have won the 2015 Vice Chancellor’s Award for Public Policy and Outreach.
The Science Engagement Champions are a group of academic staff from the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) who have demonstrated innovation, passion and creativity in their professional activities outside the university, resulting in significant impacts for public engagement with science. These impacts include science capacity building across the world, energetic online chat about science, and the promotion of STEM careers.
For more information about the work of the Science Engagement Champions, please visit the CPAS web page.
Dr McKinnon and her colleagues were presented the award by the Vice-Chancellor on November 24th 2015 at the Awards Ceremony.
