Year 11 student Allie Knight from St. Francis Xavier College walked away with more than a “love” of chemistry after attending the Science Lab Coat party at this year’s ANU Open Day.

Allie’s entry to the Science at ANU Open Day Lab Coat Party Competition about the interactive experiments at the chemistry lab has seen her take home the MacBook Air prize.

As a current year 11 student, Allie has a great passion for science and ambitions to attend ANU. Allie says she has a desire to one day be a Science Teacher and was excited to learn about the new Bachelor of Science / Master of Teaching vertical double degree.

ANU Open Day on 29 August was a huge hit, with the Science Teaching Labs crammed full of activities for prospective students and their families to enjoy. But if you missed out, don’t worry because you can also see our lovely campus and teaching facilities at any time of the year by organising a campus tour.
