My name is Abigail Slater, I'm a third-year student in the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) Science program. I moved from Newcastle to Canberra three years ago, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in all the opportunities available at ANU. My area of focus is medical science research, though I am also passionate about studying Chinese.

When I'm not at university, I love hiking, travelling and exploring new places. I recently spent a year studying and interning in Taipei and was the President of the Australia Taiwan Youth Association.
