Description

The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, is being heralded as a crucial moment for the world's leaders to boost their ambition in pledging to strong climate action that will limit global temperature rise. COP26 takes place from Sunday 31 Oct until Friday 12 Nov.

Hosted by the United Kingdom in partnership with Italy, the conference will bring together almost 200 countries, and see them boost their ambition to cut emissions over coming years.

The outcomes of the conference will have far-reaching consequences.

What will be achieved at the conference, and what does this mean for Australia, Indigenous Australian communities, Pacific Island nations, industry, and society generally?

Join us in this post-COP26 webinar to hear leading experts, including those who attended COP26 in person, answer these questions and more.

The event will be recorded, with the recording made publicly available on the Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions YouTube channel.

This event is being co-hosted by the British High Commission to Australia, and the Australian National University Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions.
