The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
This World Mental Health Day, join our experts from The Australian National University to explore the less understood, but critical emerging discoveries in mental health. In this talk, Dr Kristen Murray & Dr Joanne Rathbone will unpack the role of how we see ourselves, our bodies and our social networks through an interactive webinar discussion on the importance of Body Image and the importance of Social Connection, respectively.
Dr Conal Monaghan will then describe how all individuals vary along the same underlying dimensions of personality. This inclusive approach shows how those with and without personality disorders are really the same, with the possibility of reducing stigma and increasing self-acceptance and understanding“
