Jennifer & Ian Prosser Scholarship
This scholarship encourages Australian students, with priority given to those with remote, rural and regional backgrounds, to study Energy Transition through a Masters program in the field of renewable energy and/or energy transition offered at ANU.
About
Each year the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions ('the ICEDS') may offer an award known as the Jennifer and Ian Prosser Scholarship ('the Award').
The objective of the Award is to encourage Australian students, with priority given to those with remote, rural and regional backgrounds, to study Energy Transition through a Masters program in the field of renewable energy and/or energy transition offered at ANU.
Funding for this Award has been generously provided by Jennifer and Ian Prosser, Canberra residents who value the importance of higher education at ANU, the interdisciplinary approach to energy change and sustainability, and the need to support regional and rural students of Australia.

Master of Energy Change; Master of Climate Change; Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a commencing or continuing ANU student who:

is an Australian citizen; and
-
receives an offer of admission to or is currently enrolled in one of the following programs:

Master of Energy Change
-
Master of Climate Change
-
Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy

Benefits
2,500 per semester for one year
How to apply
If you receive an offer of admission to the relevant programs and would like to be considered for this award, please submit:
1) A cover letter
2) CV
3) A statement outlining the extent to which you are able to demonstrate how this degree will support your ongoing commitment to the field.
If applicable and to support your application, please provide evidence that you have lived in a remote, rural or regional area of Australia for:
- a period of at least 12 months in the past 2 years; or
- at least 12 months within 2 years prior to the commencement of your undergraduate degree.
Remote, rural and regional eligibility will be determined via the geographical classification defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard - ASGS, at DoctorConnect)
