Scientists react to their PhD acknowledgements

We asked scientists to revisit their PhD acknowledgements. Watch the video as they reflect on that momentous time in their lives.

For a reason we can no longer remember, we started reading the acknowledgements section of science PhD theses. We’d pick them at random from the ANU library and read only that part. Then, we could not stop - always wanting to read ‘just one more’.

What we found was a kind of poetry.
