Two ANU science students have been selected for the Australian Government's New Colombo Plan (NCP) Scholarship for 2017, alongside five other ANU students.

The NCP Scholarship gives Australian students the opportunity to study up to a year in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as the option to undertake an internship for a further six months.

The winners are looking forward to increasing their language skills and immersing themselves into a new culture.

Lauren Booth, from the ANU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, has been selected to complete studies at the National University of Singapore.
