We were delighted to see alumni & friends at the recent ANU Science Public Lecture and Dinner at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.

It was an opportunity to share stories of, and reflections on people’s time at the ANU along with meet new friends. The fondness and high regard that those present have for the ANU was evident.

Science Deans Professor Andrew Roberts and Professor Kiaran Kirk welcomed guests and outlined some of the exciting news in science, environment, medicine and health. Professor Phil Cummins gave a very interesting presentation on 'Earthquakes and Tsunamis along the Sunda-Banda Arc: Why we should worry'.
