Fifty50 runs a successful first year mentoring program. Such programs are known to play a particularly important role in supporting students who belong to an underrepresented group, such as women in some disciplines. Irrespective of their identify, first year STEM students are highly encouraged to enrol as mentees, and 2nd+ year STEM students are highly encouraged to enrol as mentors.
