About
The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was formed in January 2023 through the amalgamation of the former ANU Medical School and the ANU Research School of Psychology.
Our school works to advance human health, experience, and wellbeing, enhancing the lives of individuals and strengthening communities locally, nationally and globally. The health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities is a priority for the School.
We conduct teaching and research at multiple sites throughout the ACT, the south east region of NSW and in remote Northern Territory.
You'll find us primarily located in the Australian Capital Territory, in the inner-city suburb of Acton and at the two Canberra based hospitals. We also have a presence in the following locations:
- South-Eastern New South Wales
- The Northern Territory / Central Australia
- Sydney
- Melbourne
