Body
Changing location each year, the 2017 Field Studies in Functional Ecology field trip was held in the Daintree Rainforest. The tropical ecosystem of the Daintree Rainforest, located on the north east coast of Queensland, is the largest continuous area of tropical rainforest in Australia.
This field trip introduced students to field studies in plant and animal functional ecology, where they explored how organisms respond to conditions in their environments and acquire the resources they need to survive, grow and reproduce.
