Jane Dahlstrom Public Lecture 2026
The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) invites you to the book launch of Sexual Harassment Between Doctors.
Sexual Harassment between Doctors: Healing Medical Cultures Around the World provides leaders, scholars and survivors with a nuanced, holistic understanding of sexual harms between doctors, and demonstrates how silence prevents effective evidence-based management of sexual harassment. With contributing authors from Austria to Zambia, the book spans multiple languages, sociocultural contexts and academic disciplines, offering unique, globally contextualised perspectives. This volume not only helps to break the silence — it also offers potential solutions within discrete cultural contexts.
Lead author Associate Professor Louise Stone, who is also a practising GP, will present on her experiences of advocating to break the silence about sexual harassment among doctors. The presentation will be followed by a live panel Q&A and a prize draw to win a copy of the book.
