Indigenous Astronomy Workshop

The Indigenous Astronomy Workshop brought 75 students from rural NSW to Siding Spring Observatory for a day-long workshop. Participants had the chance to look at the sun, the stars and learn about Indigenous astronomy. The workshop is an initiative to promote STEM discipline and indigenous teachings across schools in rural NSW. The pilot workshop took place on 17 August during the National Science Week.
