Internships

An internship is an opportunity for you to work in an organisation on an agreed project for approximately 1–2 days a week for a semester. There may also be opportunities for intensive internships during semester breaks, where you would work 4 or 5 days per week over 3 or 4 weeks.

Internship projects are available at different levels, to undergraduates (SCNC 2000 and SCNC 3000) and postgraduates (SCNC 8000). Current HDR students can email science.internships@anu.edu.au to enquire whether projects can be incorporated into their PhD program. To be eligible for an internship, you must have at least a Distinction average across all subjects.
