Bachelor degree application

Application procedures a different depending on the degree program, your study background and citizenship status.

Domestic applicants

Applying is easy. Go to the University Admissions Centre (UAC) website, use your UAC application number and pin to login then follow the instructions.

ANU may make offers in the earlier rounds to applicants with completed qualifications or transferring from another institution with one year of full time tertiary study. So if you're thinking about ANU, make sure you apply in time. Visit the UAC website for all offer round deadlines.

Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) applicants

In addition to applying via UAC, applicants are required to complete the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) Supplementary form and nominate two referees to support their application.  Applicants must also fill out relevant sections of the Referee form (PDF, 86KB) prior to forwarding the form to their referees for completion.  Referees should submit the form and their report directly to the College via email at

Non-school leavers & mature age

Come and join the many people who start a degree each year at ANU without formal entry qualifications.
