Whichever subject areas you choose to focus on in your Graduate Certificate of Science, you will gain transferrable skills in critical thinking, analysis, investigation and evidenced-based decision-making.

The program can also provide an entry pathway to other postgraduate coursework programs, such as Master degrees. This program is suitable of students who have completed tertiary studies in a discipline relevant to science.

This program is only open to Domestic students. 

*This Graduate Certificate can be completed with a combination of online and in-person courses. Some of the in-person courses have been adapted for remote delivery.

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate of Science with a GPA of 5.00/7.00 or above may be eligible to apply for admission to a Master degree offered by the College of Science or the College of Health and Medicine at the Australian National University. Courses successfully completed in the Graduate Certificate of Science may be credited towards a Master degree, where eligible.
