As Deputy Director of the UNSW Australian Centre for Astrobiology, and member of the Australian Academy of Science’s National Committee for Space and Radio Science, Dr. Carol Oliver has received more than $6 million for education projects -- including the Mars Lab at Sydney’s Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, the Smart Science initiative in high schools, and the Virtual Field Trip for astrobiology teaching. What powers her success as a researcher looking at the impact of technology in science education? In her interactive keynote, Carol will inspire us as she shares her achievements, ideas and advice.
