Our Master of Science Communication Outreach students have made videos demonstrating experiments that are safe for you to do at home. They are entertaining, and you might even learn some science along the way!

Whether you replicated the results perfectly or achieved a completely different outcome, we want to hear about it! Show us your efforts in our Science at Home competition for a chance to win some cool prizes!

How the competition works

1. Pick a science video made by one of our Master of Science Communication Outreach students.
2. Watch the video and follow along with your family – see if you achieve the same outcome.
3.  Upload a video or photo of your science experiment outcome to Instagram using #ANUalumni to tag us. Don’t forget to include your notes and observations.
4. Repeat the above as many times as you like!

Prizes

At the end of May, two entries will receive a science prize pack. There will also be multiple spot prizes issued each week. Email science.alumni@anu.edu.au if you need more information.
