Master of Public Health online information session

Public Health

Join us for a live webinar to learn more about the Master of Public Health or Master of Public Health (Advanced). This webinar will include information about the course structure, online study mode, and career outcomes. Most importantly you will be able to ask any questions about studying public health at Australia's number one university.

About the program

Our Master programs in public health will prepare you to improve the population’s mental and physical health through discovery, education and the translation of research into effective health policy and practice. We draw on many different areas of population health to give you a comprehensive understanding of the field, including ageing, mental health, global health, infectious and chronic diesease epidemiology. In this program, workplace-related learning can be readily incorporated for those who work in relevant public health jobs.

The Advanced program provides you with the opportunity to extend your practical, coursework experience in public health with the development and implementation of a research project. You will be required to develop expertise in a nominated area through independent research and completion of a dissertation. It is particularly relevant to those who wish to benefit from the research strengths of ANU.
