High-throughput screening as a discovery-based research tool for investigating human diseases

Head, Victorian Centre for Functional Genomics, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Professor Tom Gonda
School of Pharmacy, University of Queensland

With the installation of the High-throughput Target and Drug Discovery Platform in the JCSMR scheduled to occur by the end of 2016, this lecture will feature two of Australia’s leading experts in functional, genome-wide high-throughput screening to give an insight into the types of discovery-based research that can be conducted on these platforms.
