  • Explore Blackbody Radiation with Mission Gravity (best for years 11-12)
  • Explore Gravitation with Mission Gravity (best for years 11-12)
  • Explore Uncertainty with Mission Gravity (best for years 11-12)

The Mission Gravity workshops are group activities using virtual reality to learn about our universe. Students will team up to learn about the visible and invisible universe including our solar system and beyond, and will build an understanding about the stellar evolution, neutron stars, black holes, pulsars and gravitational waves. The groups will create a model of stellar evolution by collecting and analysing data from a virtual trip to nearby stars and will use the laws of physics and the freedom of virtual reality to learn about how stars change over time and the tools scientists can use to study stars. Please note the workshop you are interested in when completing the contact form.
