Honours is an elite and challenging program for top students. The Honours program may be undertaken in one year full-time or on a part-time basis.

Step 1– Application
Submit your application
Please complete the Science Honours Application form (PDF, 171KB) and submit directly to the College at Science Central (Peter Baume Building 42) or via email at science.enquiries@anu.edu.au.
Some disciplines require additional information from you (see Supplementary Forms section), please attach the relevant supplementary form to your application.

Step 2 – Notification and Enrolment instructions
Once grades are released continuing ANU students will receive an email with enrolment instructions from the College containing information about adding courses specific to your honours discipline.
Students whom did not meet the requirement to begin the Honours year will be sent an email notification with relevant information.

Step 1 – Application
Submit your application
Submit your application via the Apply button on Programs and Courses using the link below relevant to your current program. For external applicants, in most instances, this will be the Bachelor of Science (Honours).

Make sure you nominate the Honours discipline for which you are applying when completing the application form.

Current ANU students do not need to upload academic documents or pay the application fee; when submitting your application you will be prompted to input your student ID number, please include this information.
External applicants must upload academic documents when applying. When available, you will also need to provide a copy of your official academic transcript including final results, and proof of completion of your undergraduate degree. Please provide this information as soon as possible.

Accept your offer
If your application is successful, you will receive an offer. Once you receive an offer it is very important that you accept it to ensure your place at ANU is reserved. Please follow the instructions included in your offer letter to accept and pay your deposit (payment of deposit is applicable to international applicants only) prior to the acceptance deadline and the start date for Honours*. The sooner you accept your offer the quicker we can take steps to progress your application. You can accept a conditional offer prior to satisfying the conditions of said offer.
*Domestic applicants will be prompted to accept online using the Manual Acceptance Form. International applicants will be prompted to accept by completing the Acceptance Declaration and Payment Advice form.
