As Australia’s most international university, we think it’s important to give you the chance to study overseas. We offer everything from short courses overseas to 12 month exchanges. You’ll return with an awareness of global issues to become a well-rounded graduate. You might just have the experience of a lifetime too.
Take your studies global by spending one or two semesters on exchange and having it count towards your ANU degree. We have over 170 partner universities in 35 countries, so while going on exchange might be a no-brainer, choosing where to go will be more difficult.
Science Global Learning Program
So studying in a classroom is great, but doing it overseas is even better. We offer various study programs that send students abroad for a few weeks. Examples include the Vietnam Field School or the Fiji Field School.
As the only Australian member of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU), ANU offers you the opportunity to study at some of the other most prestigious unis in the world. Learn about sustainability at Oxford, the Challenges of global food production at Yale, or health ageing at the University of Copenhagen.
For all those digital natives out there, why not study overseas without actually getting on a plane? Study online with students from around the world through the Virtual Exchange Alliance. The alliance is a collaboration between eight world leading universities offering courses to students from partner universities.
