ANU Travel Grant PhD application guidelines

The ANU Travel Grant program is set up to provide financial assistance for PhD students to participate in cross-institutional visits, present at international conferences, and meet special research needs. The grants should be used to supplement local area funding for future events or activities. The grants are administered by the Registrar’s Office.

The Colleges’ Joint Administration Group (JAG) Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Coordinators are the first point of contact for research student enquiries and application submissions. They will ensure submissions are complete and meet all the required criteria. Applications that are not submitted via a JAG HDR Coordinator, or are incomplete, could be unnecessarily delayed and may not be processed in time. Students are requested to submit their applications at least two months prior to their intended travel.

Further details and application forms can be found on the ANU Travel Grants webpage.
