Student Enquiries
Science@ANU Student Services Team is located on
Level 2 of the Frank Fenner Building (No. 42) and provides information
and administrative services to students and staff of Science@ANU. The College Office is open from 8:30 am to 5:00
pm, Monday to Friday, for all student enquiries.
Please note that from 3rd December 2007 until 31st January 2008 the
College Office front counter will only be open from 9-5.
Another useful resource is the Student
Enrolment and Administrative Procedures Guide. The Guide
provides information about:
- how and when to register and change enrolment
- important administrative policies and procedures
- administrative and financial deadlines and penalties for
non-compliance
- how and where to get advice
Once you are enrolled, check out your class or examination
timetable here.

Undergraduate Students
Can I apply to transfer to another degree?
Yes, fill out and submit an Application for Undergraduate Program
Transfer form along with a HECS Declaration Form and a Credit
Transfer (Status) Application for Sub Dean approval. These forms
are available from Science@ANU Reception Area (Frank
Fenner Building No. 42) or the Student
Services website.
Problems Enrolling?
Generally you should be able to enrol yourself using ISIS,
as long as you do so by the dates set out in the current Student
Enrolment and Administrative Procedures (SEAP) guide. If
an error message appears and you have checked that you meet
the prerequisites and/or co-requisites, you should contact the
school/department and request a permission code. Go back to
ISIS and use the code to override the error message on ISIS.
Note: Permission Codes are obtained directly from the department/school
(not the College Office). If your permission code still does
not work, you may need to fill out an Enrolment Variation Form,
available from Science@ANU Reception Area (Frank
Fenner Building No. 42). If you wish to take more than 24 units
in a semester, you will need to fill out an Enrolment Variation
Form and receive permission from the Sub Dean.
Where and when are my lectures?
Draft timetables are available at http://timetable.anu.edu.au
and are posted up outside the libraries.
Do I need to nominate a major?
From 2004 every student that intends to graduate will be automatically
granted a major, if possible. However, students commencing study
in 2004 must nominate a major, or one will
be automatically allocated.
Where do I pay for and collect reading
bricks and other materials?
You will be advised by your course lecturers as to the appropriate
method for acquiring course materials.
