ARC Future Fellowships 2009
This new ARC scheme aims to attract highly qualified mid-career Australian researchers situated both internationally and within Australia, to boost Australia’s research and innovation capacity in areas of national importance. Over a five year period (2009-2013), Future Fellowships will offer four-year fellowships of up to $140,000 per annum to 1,000 Australian and international top researchers in the middle of their career. In addition, each researcher’s administering organisation will receive funding of up to $50,000 per year to support related infrastructure, equipment, travel and relocation costs.
The Future Fellowships Scheme encourages proposals from researchers working in areas of national priority. Preference will be given to those researchers who can demonstrate a capacity to build collaboration across industry, research institutions or with other disciplines.
The ARC documentation for Future Fellowships to Commence in 2009 is now available on the ARC website. Please read this documentation carefully, and contact your College Research Office if you have any questions.
