The HR teams across the ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment and the ANU College of Physical Sciences are available to provide you with support and advice on a comprehensive range of human resources matters.
Our work covers recruitment, selection and appointment of new staff, appointment maintenance for staff and scholars, employee relations matters, ESP systems processing and reporting, and liaison with central HR. It is our aim to make HR information and processes as easy as possible to access and understand.
Human Resources administration at the ANU is undertaken at a central (HRD) and local level (College). The HR team across both Colleges is guided by ANU HR policies and procedures as determined by
The Varied Australian National University Enterprise Agreement 2005 - 2009.

Human Resources Management Group is currently located in three areas across the University and provides a range of services, advice and support to students and staff.

- JAG, RSAA, RSC, MSI, RSB, FSES, CPAS, EMU and Pyschology are supported by the Banks HR Management Group located on the ground floor of Building 42, the Frank Fenner Building. Please direct enquiries to hr.jag@anu.edu.au
- JCSMR, ANUMS, IPH and RSES are supported by the Garran HR Management Group located in Building 54, The John Curtin School of Medical Research. Please direct enquiries to hr@cmhs.anu.edu.au
