Memory lapses in our immune system revealed
A team co-lead by Dr Katrina Randall, Canberra Hospital, and Professor Chris Goodnow, The John Curtin School of Medical Research, has found a critical circuit in the immune system which, when faulty, causes loss of immunization memory and would explain why some people suffer frequent and repeated infections. Drought tolerant plant gene discovered
An international group of plant scientists, led by Dr Gonzalo Estavillo and Professor Barry Pogson, Research School of Biology, have discovered a subtle mutation in Arabidopsis, a small, rapid growing plant, which may have important and far reaching implications for establishing drought resistance throughout the plant kingdom. New ACTION Buses Express service from Gunghalin to City
ACTION Buses is implementing a trial for an express service from Gungahlin to Civic Interchange. Buses will come every 15 minutes between 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday - Friday. People traveling by bus and bike can connect to the Bike path on Macarthur Ave at the O'Connor playing fields. This path continues directly into ANU at North Road. Read more...
