What is your topic / field of interest?
My field of interest is the total synthesis of biologically active and complex natural compounds from simple chemicals.

What experience have you gained while studying at ANU?
My time at ANU has allowed me to gain confidence and independence in assessing and addressing problems that I face with my work by utilising the wide range of instruments and knowledge available.

What have you learnt about yourself during your time here?

Perseverance. In the chemistry world nothing comes easily. However, the satisfaction of solving ones problem and getting nearer to the finishing line is worth the while.

What do you see yourself doing upon completion of the program?
Most likely a postdoctoral fellowship somewhere in another country or pursuing personal interests.

What has been the most enjoyable experience during your studies at ANU?
There are too many memorable and enjoyable experiences to list. However, one that springs to mind is the social interaction with different colleagues and the support they provide to help you get through the tough times with work. Life isn't just about work.
