What is your topic / field of interest?
Total synthesis of biologically active natural products.

What experience have you gained while studying at ANU?
It's a pleasure to work at the RSC, having access to modern equipment and the knowledge of world-leading researchers.

What have you learnt about yourself during your time here?
That I have lots of patience to deal with the challenges that chemistry throws at me.

What do you see yourself doing upon completion of the program?
Probably a post-doc or two overseas, before returning home to Australia.

What has been the most enjoyable experience during your studies at ANU?
Getting to know the wonderful people at the RSC, who are friendly and always willing to offer helpful advice.

Why would you recommend this program to others?
The RSC is a world-class institute, and some really amazing chemistry in undertaken here.

Benefits of being at ANU / life in Canberra?
Coming from Sydney originally, I found Canberra a little hard to get used to at first. But it's a city that grows on you; it has all the perks of a larger city, without the crowds.
