Yves came to Australia from the University of Geneva in Switzerland to study a PhD with his supervisor Professor Peter Gill. He has learnt many new skills during his time at RSC including new mathematical programs, organisational skills and to always start with the basics when trying to solve complex problems.

Yves likes the ‘small town’ feel of being able to ride his bike to work every day and on the weekends takes the short drive to the coast for surfing. He says of RSC ‘A good place to study in Australia along with the Aussie lifestyle of beer and surfing on the coast’.
