Student Profile - Wade Anthony Whitelaw
Climate Change, 2008
"...the courses are interesting, diverse and well presented. They also cover a wide range of issues, are contemporary and topical."

Having participated in climate change-related courses at the ANU, what have been some of the highlights?

... I have only done two courses to date, but I would say that the main highlights have been the quality of the lecturers ... and their obvious enthusiasm for the courses they teach. The course content has also been very interesting and comprehensive.

If you were asked to recommend ANU climate change courses to a colleague, what would you say?

That the courses are interesting, diverse and well presented. They also cover a wide range of issues, are contemporary and topical.

What do you expect to gain from studying climate change courses at the ANU?

Personally it will be an increased knowledge in my new field of 'water' and will also be a refresher re my NRM [natural resource management] experience. It is providing me with much of the theory behind what I am observing in the field. I hope to use this improved knowledge and qualification to assist in potentially obtaining some future consultancy work as well as assisting in my present position with the MDBC [Murray-Darling Basin Commission].
