Graduate Studies in the Plant Sciences Discipline

ANU is in a unique position to offer outstanding opportunities for graduate students in the Plant Sciences Graduate Program. With leading national and international researchers both at ANU and the CSIRO, Canberra offers one of the strongest plant biology networks in Australia. Students can experience research in diverse areas of plant biology including cellular, molecular and functional genomic analyses of plant function, growth and development; plant-microbe interactions; plant environmental biology and stress physiology; plant photosynthesis; bioenergetics and protein engineering; and plant nutrition. There are many opportunities for research that is directly or indirectly related to problems in Australian biotechnology, agriculture and forestry.
