E-NEWSLETTER, FEBRUARY 2009
Welcome to your first edition of the Science, Medicine and Health Alumni Newsletter for 2009.
CONTENTS:
As some of you may be aware, the Australian National University (ANU) has undergone a significant restructure in recent months. The new structure for Science, Medicine and Health at ANU is the ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment and the ANU College of Physical Sciences.
As ever we appreciate you, and your role as ambassadors for Science, particularly in increasing community awareness of the value of Science.
Again, I encourage you to continue to update your career and contact details - this information will enable us to keep you in contact with Science at ANU.
Our sincere thoughts are with those affected by the tragic fires in the regions of Victoria and New South Wales. If you want to help there is a Victorian Bush Fire Appeal being run in partnership with the Australian Red Cross and the Federal Government.
I am looking forward to catching up with some of you during 2009, and keeping you in contact with Science, Medicine and Health at ANU.
Yours sincerely
Patricia Rennie
